Keep the doors open for the next generation.
Old stone churches are kept by the communities that love them. Every gift — large or small — keeps St Peter's warm, insured, repaired and open to all.
What your giving makes possible.
The building. Heritage stone needs constant quiet care — roof, gutters, lime mortar, insurance and power. It's unglamorous, and it's what keeps a sacred space standing for the town's grandchildren.
The care. Pastoral visits, hospital trips, community lunches and morning teas all carry small real costs — petrol, groceries, hall supplies. Gifts make sure care never waits for budget.
The welcome. Keeping the church open, lit and warm every week — and free to all who need it — is itself an act of generosity made possible by givers.

Other ways to give
-
On Sunday
Many give in the Sunday offering, by cash or envelope. Visitors should feel no obligation whatsoever — the plate is for those who call St Peter's home.
-
A gift in your will
Many country churches survive because someone remembered them. A bequest to St Peter's keeps the doors open long after we're gone — talk to us about it.

Time & skills
Gardeners, cleaners, bakers of morning-tea slices, handy people for small repairs — practical help is as valuable as money in a parish our size.
“Every gift to a country church says the same thing: this place matters. Keep it standing.”With gratitude — the people of St Peter's
