Worship & Prayer
We maintain a place of worship where the historic prayers and sacraments of the Anglican tradition are offered week by week. All are welcome at our services.
Service times
St Peter's Anglican Church has served the people of Peterborough and the surrounding rural districts of South Australia for generations. All are welcome to worship, find fellowship, and receive pastoral care with us.
St Peter's Anglican Church exists to provide and maintain a place for worship, to offer fellowship and hospitality, and to provide pastoral care to our congregation and our wider community. These purposes, registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), guide everything we do.
As a small rural parish within the Anglican Diocese of Willochra, we are proud to serve families, working adults, and older members of our community across Peterborough and the surrounding regional and remote districts of South Australia.
Three enduring ministries shape our life together as an Anglican congregation in regional South Australia.

Service times
Faith is lived in community. We gather for fellowship, morning tea and shared hospitality that welcomes newcomers and strengthens long-standing friendships.
Our community
We walk alongside people in times of joy and difficulty, offering pastoral care and support to the sick, the isolated and the grieving across our rural district.
Pastoral care“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Peterborough sits in the mid-north of South Australia, a proud rural town within the vast Anglican Diocese of Willochra. Our parish opens its doors to everyone in the district, and our ministry particularly supports:
Support, community and a place to belong for local families.
Fellowship and faith for adults aged 25 to 65.
Pastoral care and companionship for adults aged 65 and over.
Presence and care for people in regional and remote communities.

Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning after many years, or looking for a church home in Peterborough, there is a warm welcome waiting for you at St Peter's.
